The records document Consumers' Research's testing, research, and projects concerning the performance of washing machines, clothes dryers, laundry detergents, and irons. Included are correspondence, notes, magazine and newspaper clippings, advertisements, laboratory notebooks, cloth samples, and scorch patterns for irons.
